  • At Chew Valley Dairy, our family have been faithfully farming in Somerset since 1525.

  • Now in our 27th generation, and a wholly independent family company, you can find us rooted in the Mendip Hills National Landscape, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

  • Run by father-and-son team Colston and Thomas, we’ve grown organically from serving the Bristol area, to now covering much of the South and the Midlands.

Our Sustainable Pledge

We’re proud to be supporting the NFU’s ambition for British agriculture to reach net zero emissions by 2040. On our own farm, we’ve already taken big steps.

One of the most exciting is our anaerobic digester — we’re one of only a handful of UK farms to have one. It transforms farm by-products (including manure) into clean, low-carbon energy that powers not only our farm but also homes in a neighbouring village.

This is just one way we’re turning everyday farming challenges into opportunities to cut emissions and create a more sustainable future for British farming.
